What do the terms "tranches" and "rounds" mean?
To raise the necessary funds for a project, we divide it into multiple tranches, each representing a portion of the total capital required. If you invested in an earlier tranche, you might notice that the same project is now being presented from the beginning again. This indicates that we have successfully completed the initial fundraising phase and are now moving on to the next tranche.
Our approach involves funding projects with a maximum loan-to-value (LTV) ratio of 80%. This means that we only finance up to 80% of the project's value, ensuring that there is a significant equity buffer. This strategy helps mitigate risk and supports the stability and success of the project throughout its various funding stages.
